I’m interested in this as well. The QE305 models have clear date codes marked on them. It’s not the same with the QE405/405f/407/407f/409 models. I’m not saying they don’t have a date code somewhere on them. I just haven’t found it,

I’m not very familiar with this model pencil, and I can’t really tell from the pictures, but do the regular (non-Gomdale) QE405 pencils have printing on them? The QE505 pencils, far right row (9th thru 20th), are dark gray with a black grip, yes? The ones with the red highlights are actually red in color, yes? (No mistaking it for a pinkish color?)
The only pencils I have from this line are from a couple different salesman sample kits. (The color highlights on the QE505 look pinkish to me, but the accompanying booklet for one of them does list it as red.)

The printing on all of the QE405/QE407/QE409/QE405f/QE407f models do have the chrome printing similar to the teal pencil in your picture. Yes, the QE505s are grey with black grips. They have blue, yellow, or red clips. The Asian market and worldwide market versions are different.
I’ve never seen the salesman sample kits. Let me know if you’d ever consider selling or trading them?

So, do you have any gray QE405 pencils in your picture? It’s such a light shade of gray that it almost appears white.
Yeah, I have about 20 of the grey varieties. I have a Pentel box for them as well. It’s the white version I have never seen or heard of.

200-piece drawers are like unicorns. Did you add the dividers separately, or were they part of the original drawers? If separate, where did you get them?

I added them separately. I got them from Penn State. The entire cabinet is 7 drawers, so plenty of space. More pics to come once my office renovations are complete and I have it full of pencils.
