The original seller had about 6~8 of them. I bought two. And a few years after I’d gotten them, I sold one to fund something else. It never occurred to me that it could’ve been a prototype. I assumed it was left over from a failed attempt by rOtring to offer a proprietary refill in their offerings. I’d gotten a price that was a little over the going rate for rOtring 600 Newton Lava rollerballs at that time, so I considered it a good move. If only I’d known… 
But rather than dwell on that stupid move, I’m just glad I stopped at one and kept the other!
