Finishes -- which ones do you appreciate the most?

I came across this interesting pattern for a duet of PILOT fountain pens… from the β€œT” series (from what I understand it doesn’t mean β€˜titanium’ but some reference to a luxury line). Many of us here have seen the β€œT” series mechanical pencils that have a brushed steel alloy finish in a parallel grain to the body, accompanied by gold plated accents.

This one has a kind of β€œwindow pane” grid design, which presents an interesting effect reminiscent of skyscraper buildings with their grids of windows flanked by steel reinforced beams. I’ve never seen this specific pattern before, in either ballpoint or mechanical pencil formats.

Oh, I thought that Sailor 1+1 was printed, so it’s a steel etched model? This model feels mediocre when rotating it.

Another hammer tone model which I’m familiar with is from Zebra sharbo

For dot pattern, seems that MR is the only one, it feels good both in appearance and touch. I know there models in similar style though:
