Gotcha, I have both and have used both, but not to any degree where I really noticed a difference.

Maybe they changed it later on, the grip felt more rubbery when I tried it. But It’s all good. I won an auction on eBay a year or 2 back that had like a case of them with various colored barrels as well as refills, so I’m good for awhile. I also have a few of the Tombow Mono ones and I know alot of fellow illustrators who swear by them, but the tip of the eraser doesn’t break down as neatly as the Tuff Stuff eraser. But I’m fickle
Top down:
Artline Shachihata retractable ballpoint – tiny as hell retracted, extends to a nice usable size. Perfect match for the body-knock mechanical pencil (both in brushed steel with chrome accents).
Mitsubishi Uni5 Super – really excellent steel bodied mechanical pencil, cousin of the ring-grip M5-1100.

Wow, a mint stickered Sprinter! Where’d you find it?
Mine is near mint but with no sticker. It’s a really good pencil that I’d say punches above its original sticker price (for the tear drop nose cone). They could’ve gone with ¥1500.
Also, nice OHTO Piston Sharp SP-15 and BP15.
The gimmick is that a long press, the kind you’d do for a retractable click-style mechanical pencil, will pull the lead back into the tube. This way you don’t have to press-hold-push. It’s kind of neat if you do a lot of short writing sessions with an OHTO Piston. There’s also a “window” on the clip that shows the pressing action (half or full).
I really like the SP-15 because of the grip. It’s unusual and the transparent silicone material holds up really well. it doesn’t get sticky like most soft grips.

I’ve seen the SP-15 for sale quite a few times, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I’ve also seen some of the others in the lineup that seem to have the same recurring defects, i.e., cracks in the barrels or tips. This has left me a little reluctant.
