When I was a kid, I had a similar one, I don’t remember the color anymore. But it was the most affordable and cheapest mechanical pencil in our country.
Poor quality, but it’s a memory of my childhood for me.

I never knew these existed. Looks like a coherent design, even if somewhat generic. On this side of the Iron Curtain, Czechoslovakia was well known for manufacturing relatively higher quality consumer products than the rest of the neighbors.
In Romania we only had one type of locally made thin lead MP, a no name from Flaro ( Flamura Rosie = Red Banner in eng.) Available in 0,7 and 0,9 ( no 0,5 because they probably did not have suitable production machinery). Barrels were red, blue, brown, beige and white. Some had retractable lead pipe.
I never owned one as a kid. They are cheap but hard to find now, since most were thrown away decades ago due to being unreliable. Clutches made from low quality plastic made the lead slide back inside when pressed on too hard….

I love the boxes! Their proportions and graph paper design remind me of a jazzed-up version of the early MIFA flat lead pencil boxes.
