Mystery desk pencil- any ideas?

I’ve had this 0.9mm nose twist advance/retract desk pencil for a few years and never found out who made it- anyone seen one before?

When one of your casual, less-known pieces is in and of itself a potential museum-grade specimen…

Simply beautiful, I love the shape, the tapering, the subtle grip accents, and even the extra-long tip cone in brass. May be an artisanal piece, English perhaps? If it is bakelite, it is remarkably well preserved.

Amazing.

A desk version of a RITE-RITE?

Quite possibly- thats a very close to perfect match for the form of the front end. Very nice to hold in use

It is a nice thing isn’t it!? I think it ois English and bakelite- it came amongst a bunch of desk ephemera in a bigger lot from an English seller

The material (ebonite?), elegant curves and finely-ridged grip section all remind me of the various dip pen holders produced by British firm Ormiston & Glass (often abbreviated to O&GL on the pens themselves). However, I am not aware that they ever made pencils, so the trail goes cold here.

I have a retractable desk ball pen from Kaweco, I wondered if there were pencils in the same form. Definitely very elegant, I agree.
