Thanks for sharing these!

The last one is a Technopress PN55, not a QX

what was sold here? https://jp.mercari.com/item/m97840061533

I believe it was the display that was sold in that listing.

You are right. I was working on the Pentel book and the two different PN305, and wrote the wrong one here.

I also think so (at least I hope ;-), since other sells from that person are not silly). however, the description could also be interpreted that the wooden rack is not part of the auction.

Ugh, I keep missing these! I need a Pentel display to solve my Pentel collection display conundrum

But the Toolbox™ was the solution!

You were going to sell them nationwide in like Home Depot’s and Lowe’s and such.

You coulda been famous!

:hugs:

It’s all true, but with Pentel in particular, I cannot find a satisfactory arrangement for their drafting and drafting-adjacent pencils.

The old school display case with the Mechanica through the PG309 seems like it would solve this by removing (some of) the most prestigious items from the Pentel drawer.

As things stand right now, I don’t like how the Mechanicas and PMG set (0.2–0.7) lack prominent display positions that match their stature.

And how to fit other pencils around these, such as the P20X, P22X, Graphlets, etc? And what about limited editions? Where does the Injecto fit? What about the Orenznero and now the Orenz AT?

Every manufacturer presents some organizational difficulties, but Pentel is by far the worst—prominent pieces exist in every corner of their catalog, and placing them all in positions of relative importance is quite a challenge!

It’s a real struggle on how to display things because I want to see them, not just tuck them away in a container.

If I had a collection as big as you guys, I’d try to place the MPs on my walls via shelves or some other method. Good thing I’m too bad financially to support this.

Is this an issue I’m too poor to understand?

That’s pretty much what I do - either build a stand if I don’t want them touching each other or use glass jars.

lol once you have enough pieces to organize, you’ll get a taste of this special hell

Sounds like you need the official Pentel drafting goods display case…

I would still love to pick up one of those. I have a couple of the big 3 tray Pentel display cases, plus a couple of Pentel lead display/holders.

I have one of the original cases for the Sharps and one of the lead display drawer cases.

I always drooled over the cases that George had.

I have the 36 box lead display, a 12 box lead display, a drawer lead display and a graph gear 800 display. Would love a P200 display.
